The 2023 Ocsean Philippines International Conference now open for registration

Exploring Diversity: International Conference on Language, Genes, Culture, History, and Community Heritage Unites Global Scholars in a Multidisciplinary Discourse

Together with local partners, Ocsean Philippines is organizing an International Conference on Language, Genes, Culture, History, and Community Heritage from June 4 to 10, 2023 to be held in southern Philippines.  The aim is to advance our understanding on human origins, history, and diversity in the Asia-Pacific region using high density data from archaeology, anthropology, linguistics, and genomics.


This conference is organised in partnership with Local Government Units of Tagum City and Municipality of Tboli, Musikahan sa Tagum Foundation, Kaliwat Performing Arts Collective, Inc., Terando Project Management and Consultancy Services, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College, Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc., Ateneo de Davao University, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
